BREAKAGE POLICY
We know that glass and plastic bongs are fragile things that need to be handled with care at Gong Bong. The goal of our Breakage Policy is to make it clear how we handle problems related to breaking, so that our customers are aware of what to do and can get help if their goods get damaged.
Although they look good and serve a purpose, they are easily broken because they are fragile. It is important to remember that things can break while being shipped, handled, or used normally. Because of this, we've come up with the following rules for dealing with breakage:
1. Inspection Upon Receipt: Customers are encouraged to check their bongs as soon as they get them. If you see any damage, it's extremely important to take pictures of the item and let us know within 48 hours after delivery. This immediate move lets us look at the problem and provide the right help.
2. Reporting Breakage: In the event of breakage, customers should reach out to our customer service team at gongbongshop@gmail.com. Please include your order number, a description of the damage, and any photographic evidence. This information will assist us in processing your claim efficiently.
3. Return of Damaged Items: If a return is necessary, customers will be provided with instructions on how to return the damaged item. It is essential that the item is returned in its original packaging, if possible, to prevent further damage during transit.
4. Replacement or Refund: Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will determine whether a replacement or refund is appropriate. If the breakage is deemed to be a result of manufacturing defects, we will cover the cost of the return shipping. However, if the breakage is due to mishandling or user error, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.
5. Limitations: This policy applies only to items purchased directly from Gong Bong. Items purchased from third-party sellers or through unauthorized channels are not covered under this Breakage Policy. Additionally, this policy does not cover normal wear and tear or damage resulting from misuse.
6. Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for the proper care and handling of their bongs. It is advisable to follow all usage instructions provided with the product to minimize the risk of breakage. Proper storage and handling practices can significantly extend the lifespan of glass and plastic bongs.
